1. Definitions

• "PaipMentari," "we," "us," "our" refers to the plumbing service business operating under the name PaipMentari, based at 88, Lebuh Pantai, 10300 George Town, Penang, Malaysia.
• "You," "User," "Client" refers to the individual or household engaging our services or accessing this website.
• "Service" refers to any of our three home plumbing services: Pipe Joint and Hose Inspection, Heavy Drain Clearing, and Full Shower System Fitting.
• "Website" refers to the site accessible at https://paipment.info.
• "Agreement" refers to these Terms together with any service booking confirmation.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By submitting the job sheet form on our website, calling us to arrange a service, or allowing our technician to carry out work at your premises, you confirm that you:

• Are aged 18 or above and have the legal capacity to enter into an agreement
• Are the owner or authorised occupant of the premises where the service is to be carried out, or have the owner's consent
• Have read and agree to these Terms

3. Service Description and Availability

PaipMentari provides residential plumbing services in Penang, Malaysia. Our three available services are described on our website and are subject to technician availability and geographic coverage. We operate Monday to Friday 8:00 am – 6:00 pm and Saturday 8:00 am – 1:00 pm. Services are not available on Sundays and Malaysian public holidays.

We will make reasonable efforts to confirm your booking within the same working day as your enquiry. Confirmation of a booking does not constitute a guarantee of a specific arrival time; an estimated window will be communicated when booking is confirmed.

4. Your Responsibilities

When booking or receiving our services, you agree to:

• Ensure that a responsible adult is present throughout the visit
• Provide accurate information about the issue or installation required
• Allow our technician safe access to the relevant areas of the property
• Not misrepresent the scope or complexity of the job at the time of booking
• Notify us at least 24 hours in advance if you need to reschedule or cancel a confirmed booking

5. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, layout, images, and design elements — is the property of PaipMentari or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any part of this website for commercial purposes without our prior written permission. Limited personal, non-commercial use for information purposes is permitted.

6. Payment Terms

Prices for our services are published on this website in Malaysian Ringgit (RM). The published price covers the specific service described. Payment is due at the completion of the visit, unless otherwise agreed in writing in advance.

If additional work is identified during a visit that goes beyond the scope of the booked service, the technician will explain the additional scope and cost before proceeding. No additional charges will be applied without your verbal or written agreement.

We accept payment by cash or bank transfer. Receipts are available on request.

7. Service-Specific Notes

Pipe Joint and Hose Inspection (RM 235): Covers inspection and tightening of accessible joints and replacement of hoses found to be deteriorated. Joints or pipes behind walls or under floors that are not accessible without structural work are excluded from this service.

Heavy Drain Clearing (RM 480): Covers powered drain machine use and water jetting where pipe condition allows. If the blockage cannot be cleared due to pipe damage or structural collapse requiring excavation or pipe replacement, this will be identified and a separate assessment provided.

Full Shower System Fitting (RM 1,460): Covers installation labour for a complete shower set supplied by the client or through us. The price does not include the shower set itself unless explicitly agreed and invoiced separately. Structural changes to tiles or walls beyond the fitting opening are not included.

8. Disclaimers

We carry out our work to a professional standard, but we cannot provide absolute assurances about outcomes in all circumstances. Older plumbing systems, pre-existing pipe damage, or concealed structural issues may affect the results of any service.

Our written household report reflects conditions visible to the technician at the time of the visit. It is not a structural survey or a certification of the entire plumbing system of the property.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by Malaysian law, PaipMentari's total liability to you in connection with any service shall not exceed the amount paid for that specific service visit.

We are not liable for indirect losses, consequential damages, or losses arising from pre-existing plumbing conditions that were not visible or disclosed at the time of the visit.

10. Cancellation and Rescheduling

You may cancel or reschedule a booking without charge by contacting us at least 24 hours before the scheduled visit. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice may incur a call-out fee of RM 50 to cover the technician's lost time.

We reserve the right to reschedule a visit if a technician becomes unavailable due to illness or emergency. We will contact you as early as possible to arrange an alternative time.

11. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. In the event of a dispute, we encourage you to contact us directly at [email protected] so that we can attempt to resolve the matter informally within 14 working days.

If informal resolution is not possible, disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.

12. General Provisions

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force. Our failure to enforce any right under these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that right.

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and PaipMentari regarding the use of our services and supersede any previous understandings, whether oral or written.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated terms will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. Continued use of our website or services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
