How long does a pipe joint inspection take?
A standard home inspection — covering under-sink joints, toilet connections, and washing machine hoses — typically takes between 60 and 90 minutes. If additional tightening or hose replacement is needed, the technician will complete that during the same visit within the quoted price.
Is the drain clearing price fixed even for severe blockages?
The RM 480 price covers most heavy blockages — including root intrusion and grease build-up — using powered equipment and water jetting. If the situation requires structural pipe work beyond clearing (such as a broken section), the technician will explain this and provide a separate assessment before any additional work begins.
Does the shower fitting price include the shower set itself?
The RM 1,460 covers full installation labour — supply line preparation, fitting the mixer valve, riser, hand-shower, and rainfall head, plus sealing wall openings and testing. The shower set itself can be supplied by you or sourced through us; let us know your preference when filling in the job sheet.
What happens after I submit the job sheet?
We will respond by phone or email within a few hours to confirm the job details and agree on a suitable visit time. For mornings or weekday slots, same-day or next-day availability is often possible. Weekend bookings are subject to schedule, so contact us a day in advance if possible.
Do I need to be home during the visit?
Yes, someone should be present throughout the visit. Access to specific areas — under-sink cabinets, bathroom, utility room — is required, and the written report is handed to the household at the end. This also allows you to ask any questions about the work completed.
